The vertical design of the Setaram Thermal Mechanical Analysis (TMA) instruments allows measurements under very small loads (down to 0.01 N) without applying force on the sample. Working on a large temperature range, the TMAs offer a large number of probes permitting measurements in compression, bending, traction, etc. Both TMAs can measure in a reducing atmosphere such as H or CO. Controlled sintering rate measurements are also possible on all SETARAM TMAs.
